Simplified Kaolin Production and Processing Plant 

Product Description

Kaolin is a kind of non-metallic mineral, which is a kind of clay and clay rock mainly composed of Kaolin clay minerals. Because it is white and delicate, it is also called Baiyun soil/China Soil. It is named after Gaoling Village, Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province.
It is used primarily to add brightness, smoothness and gloss to products such as paper, paint, toothpaste, cosmetics, porcelain and more. New uses for kaolin continue to be discovered, ensuring sustained, long-term demand for this mineral.

For Kaolinite and kaolin clay processing plant,normally flotation,gravity separation and mangetic separation methods or mixed together are used. Due to the different ore content and composition of each user's investment, the corresponding mineral processing technology may increase or decrease, and the investment company should purchase a full set of processing equipment for the mineral processing line according to its actual mineral situation.

General Flow Steps:
1. Use a vibrating feeder to feed the materials to a rough/primary jaw crusher.crushed materials using a belt delivery to vibration screen, ≤120mm size to the fine/second jaw crusher.
2. Send the material after the fine crusher to the vibration screen. Over 25mm size material use a blet return to the fine crusher to grinding it.
0-15mm size materials transported by belt converyor.
3. Use an pendular feeder to feed the material to a ball mill. 
4. After grinding the material, materials sent to spiral classifier for washing classifying,over 5 mm sent back to ball mill for regrinding,and 0-2mm materials use dewatering screen with hydrocyclones for desliming,using mixing tank for agitating and sent to floation cell for kaolin recovery.
5. After flotation cell ,the concentrates will be sent to filter for final concentration,then we get separated pure concentrates. Besides,magnetic separator can be used for further concentration if the minerals contains mangetic materials.

Vibrating Feeder () is mainly used to feed materials evenly and continuously into belt conveyor, bucket elevator, screening and crushing equipment before primary crusher, also used for screening fine materials to increase the processing capacity of crusher. The feeding amount can be adjusted flexibly to achieve centralized control and automatic control in the production process. It is applied to crushing and screening production lines on crushing site,in mining,metallurgy,building material ,chemistry,mineral processing,and coal industries.















Gelin's vibrating screens () are used for screening of granular bulk material in coal, metallurgical, power generation, building material, water conservancy, light and chemical industries and other industries.The screen frame consists of both side panels and cross beams being bolted and glued to the panels carrying the screen deck substructure. The excitation is made with in-house manufactured unbalanced shaft or with a single unbalanced motor. The vibrating screens can be equipped with all different kinds of screen mats available on the market and it 's best suitable for long-living and economical operation.

 () is composed of bracket, jaw, eccentric shaft, jaw plate, spring, etc. The maximum compression strength of materials to be crushed is 320MPA. PE series jaw crusher is commonly used for primary crushing, and PEX series is used for secondary crushing and fine crushing.

 () is a key equipment to grind the crushed materials, and the ball mill is widely used in powder-making production line including cement, silicate, new-type building material, refractory material, fertilizer, ore dressing of ferrous metal and non-ferrous metal, glass ceramics, etc. And the ball mill can grind various ores and other materials with dry type and wet type. There are two kinds of ball mill, grate type and overflow type due to different ways of discharging material.

() is widely used to pre-grading and inspection grading in closed circuits when used in the production flow of metal processing. According to the difference in sedimentation rate of mineral particles and mud, the particle sizes of ores with 1.5mm-0.03mm are classified. 
Waste mud or water for ore sand can be separated from the ores. It's also usually applied to ore washing, desliming and dehydration and so on.

 

 () is the equipment to complete the flotation process, which is also called flotation cell. It is widely used for the rough, fine and reverse flotation operations of copper, lead, zinc, nickel, molybdenum and other non-ferrous metal, ferrous metal and nonmetal minerals.

Mineral Agitation Barrels/Agitation Tank () of is used to mix the pulp with chemicals, preparing for flotation separation.The agitation tank is mainly applied in slurry stirring before flotation, chemical and construction industry,cyanide chemical plant,sewage treatment plant,and coal plant, etc.. It used the density of less than 30% and frozen composition of less than 1mm.

 () are specifically designed for dewatering material and sludge and produce bulk material which can be transported with standard means. They are also used to recover solid particles from liquids, muds or sludges. It can be used in coal preparation, mineral processing, power generation, sugar, salt and other industrial departments for dry-wet screening, dewatering, desliming and desliming of medium and fine-grained materials.Normally it will be equipped with  () for better performance.

Vacuum Filter  is applicable to geological, metallurgical, building material, mining and other industries for mineral
dewatering after flotation, gravity concentration, magnetic separation and other operations in tests on mineral separability and separation of solid-liquid in sample testing. It mainly comprises vacuum pump, moisture air filter, vacuum negative pressure tank and two filter trays with automatic drainage device to be provided to separate solids from liquids.

They are widely used in mineral processing industry, coal washing industry, chemical industry, etc, e.g. recycle heavy formulas such as magnetic heavy media during heavy media separation, concentrate low-concentration slurry in iron ore and gather magnetic steel minerals, treat ore feeding from high-intensity magnetic separators, remove magnetic or weakly magnetic ores and coenobium, as well as prevent blockage of magnetic media.
