Nickel ore can be divided into copper sulfide nickel ore and nickel oxide ore. Flotation is the main beneficiation method when processing copper sulfide nickel ore, while and Gravity Separation & Magnetic Separation are the commonly auxiliary methods.
Above is for reference only,different ores process flowchart available depends on customer's actual mining condition. It's suitable for many rock type ores processing plant,like copper,lead zinc,tungsten,tin etc.
General Flow Steps:
1. Use a vibrating feeder to feed the materials to a rough/primary jaw crusher.crushed materials using a belt delivery to vibration screen, ≤120mm size to the fine/second jaw crusher.
2. Send the material after the fine crusher to the vibration screen. Over 25mm size material use a blet return to the fine crusher to grinding it.
0-15mm size materials transported by belt converyor.
3. Use an pendular feeder to feed the material to a ball mill.
4. After grinding the material, materials sent to spiral classifier for washing classifying,over 5 mm sent back to ball mill for regrinding,and 0-2mm materials (option 1 for nickel oxide ore) use a slurry pump to shaking table to recovery nickel concentrates,or (option 2 for copper sulfide nickel ore) using mixing tank for agitating and sent to floation cell for nickel recovery.
6. After the shaking table or flotation cell ,the concentrates will be sent vacuum filter for final concentration,then we get separated pure concentrates.

Vibrating Feeder (
click for more details) is mainly used to feed materials evenly and continuously into belt conveyor, bucket elevator, screening and crushing equipment before primary crusher, also used for screening fine materials to increase the processing capacity of crusher. The feeding amount can be adjusted flexibly to achieve centralized control and automatic control in the production process. It is applied to crushing and screening production lines on crushing site,in mining,metallurgy,building material ,chemistry,mineral processing,and coal industries.
Gelin's
vibrating screens (
click for more details) are used for screening of granular bulk material in coal, metallurgical, power generation, building material, water conservancy, light and chemical industries and other industries.The screen frame consists of both side panels and cross beams being bolted and glued to the panels carrying the screen deck substructure. The excitation is made with in-house manufactured unbalanced shaft or with a single unbalanced motor. The vibrating screens can be equipped with all different kinds of screen mats available on the market and it 's best suitable for long-living and economical operation.

Jaw crusher (

is composed of bracket, jaw, eccentric shaft, jaw plate, spring, etc. The maximum compression strength of materials to be crushed is 320MPA. PE series jaw crusher is commonly used for primary crushing, and PEX series is used for secondary crushing and fine crushing.

Ball mill (
click for details) is a key equipment to grind the crushed materials, and the ball mill is widely used in powder-making production line including cement, silicate, new-type building material, refractory material, fertilizer, ore dressing of ferrous metal and non-ferrous metal, glass ceramics, etc. And the ball mill can grind various ores and other materials with dry type and wet type. There are two kinds of ball mill, grate type and overflow type due to different ways of discharging material.
Spiral Classifier(
click for more details) is widely used to pre-grading and inspection grading in closed circuits when used in the production flow of metal processing. According to the difference in sedimentation rate of mineral particles and mud, the particle sizes of ores with 1.5mm-0.03mm are classified.
Waste mud or water for ore sand can be separated from the ores. It's also usually applied to ore washing, desliming and dehydration and so on.
GELIN
Shaking Table (
click for more details) is one of the main equipments of gravity concentration.It is applicable for separations of fine-grained and micro-grained rare metal, ferrous and non-ferrous metal, precious metal , coal and other minerals. It can carry out ore concentration operation independently and also can operate in conjunction with jig, screw separator, centrifugal separator and other equipment.
The table surface is constructed of ore sand or slime and is made up of glass fibre reinforced plastic or aluminum alloy.
The machine is normally used for different operation such as rough selection, elaborate selection and scavenging for large, medium and small-sized factories.Such shaking tables are divided into ore sand tables and ore slime tables. Ore sand tables apply to the sorting of coarse ores and ore slime tables apply to the sorting of fine ores.
Mineral Agitation Barrels/Agitation Tank (
click for more details) of is used to mix the pulp with chemicals, preparing for flotation separation.The agitation tank is mainly applied in slurry stirring before flotation, chemical and construction industry,cyanide chemical plant,sewage treatment plant,and coal plant, etc.. It used the density of less than 30% and frozen composition of less than 1mm.
Swing feeder/Pendulum Feeder (
click for more details) is suitable for beneficiation, coal, chemical and other industries. It is usually used as the feeding equipment combining ball mill with ore belt conveyor or installed under the storage tank or hopper , with two modes of adjusting the capacity of ore feed: 1.adjusting the eccentricity of the eccentric wheel; 2.adjusting the flashboard of discharging ore.Swing feeder sends granular and lump materials from storage silos to different type of devices.
This mining swing feeder has brought funnel, belt modulating valves and without funnel and without regulating valves two forms. The body is made up by the rack, floor (to the trough) transmission platform, hopper gates, roller etc.
Notice:It is not suitable for delivering the dry powder of the too big material or otherwise, it may appear the fly-ash pollution or the jam of the output.
Vacuum Filter is applicable to geological, metallurgical, building material, mining and other industries for mineral
dewatering after flotation, gravity concentration, magnetic separation and other operations in tests on mineral separability and separation of solid-liquid in sample testing. It mainly comprises vacuum pump, moisture air filter, vacuum negative pressure tank and two filter trays with automatic drainage device to be provided to separate solids from liquids.
