Full set high efficient kaoline/soil sand wash plant with dewater screen
Kaolin is a kind of non-metallic mineral, which is a kind of clay and clay rock mainly composed of Kaolin clay minerals. Because it is white and delicate, it is also called Baiyun soil/China Soil. It is named after Gaoling Village, Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province.
It is used primarily to add brightness, smoothness and gloss to products such as paper, paint, toothpaste, cosmetics, porcelain and more. New uses for kaolin continue to be discovered, ensuring sustained, long-term demand for this mineral.
Kaolin & Ceramic Clay Recycling:
Kaolin will produce a large amount of tailings after beneficiation and recovery. Since kaolin tailings are less recycled, with the continuous accumulation of tailings, it will occupy a large amount of land, pollute the water quality, and cause vegetation destruction and soil erosion, and even cause debris flows, which will seriously affect the ecological environment. Therefore, the comprehensive utilization and recycling of kaolin tailings can effectively prevent resource waste and environmental damage.
General Flow Steps:
1. Feed the raw materials to the hopper, and a feeder below the hopper will evenly feed the raw materials to the belt conveyor, and the raw materials sent to the log washer/spiral classifier. The function of the machine is to disperse, stir and clean the block mass kaolin clay.
2. Sent to attrition scrubber for further washing&cleaning. The function of attrition scrubber is to better scrub the sticky slime from the kaolin. After washing by the attrition scrubber, then enter the trommel screen to screen out big waste stones which are sent to far place by belt conveyor, and the material under the screen enters the spiral sand washer.
3. Overflow kaolin concentrate comes from first spiral washer,and the underflow mineral goes to second spiral washer for further washing,we got overflow kaolin concentrate and underflows go to wheel sand washer,the overflow from the wheel sand washer is the concentrate, the underflow goes to the dewatering screen. after two second stage dewatering screen, over screen materials of the second dewatering screen are coarse particles waste.and sent away by belt conveyor, under the sieve is the concentrate.
4. Kaolin concentrate from two dewatering screens flows into pond #1,and Kaolin Concentrate from the overflows of the two spiral sand washers and wheel sand washer is into pool #2. Use slurry pump to send pond #2 concentrate into #2 hydrocyclone group, and the overflow of the cyclone group is kaolin concentrate, underflow flows to the dewatering screen for dehydration. and under the screen of the dewatering screen is a concentrate which goes into pond #1. Materials over screen are medium particles waste, which is transported away by a belt conveyor.
5.The under-screen concentrates of 4 dewatering screens are all in pond #1, and they are pumped to #1 cyclone group with a slurry pump. The underflow of the #1 cyclone group goes to the dewatering screen, and the overflow is kaolin concentrate.Finally, the overflow of the two cyclone groups (kaolin concentrate) will flow to the concentrate pool #3.
Spiral Classifier(
click for more details) is widely used to pre-grading and inspection grading in closed circuits when used in the production flow of metal processing. According to the difference in sedimentation rate of mineral particles and mud, the particle sizes of ores with 1.5mm-0.03mm are classified.
Waste mud or water for ore sand can be separated from the ores. It's also usually applied to ore washing, desliming and dehydration and so on.
Attrition scrubbers are also called Sand Scrubbers/Attrition Cells, which are generally used before or after sand screws in sand washing plant to scrub the surfaces of particulates, break down impurities, and remove it from competent aggregate material to reduce the product turbidity. Log washer/spiral sand and gravel washer(click for more details) is mainly used to wash the manganese ore, iron ore, phosphate and other minerals, it is usually used to clean and separate the silt and stains from manganese ore, iron ore and other low-grade mineral. Also it suitable for scrubbing material which contains tough insoluble clays, conglomerates or soft stone.
