Silica Sand Purify Plant:
The complete set of silica sand purify plant includes feeding hopper, belt conveyor, Liner screen, spiral classifier, hydraulic
cyclone, dewatering screen, Attrition Scrubber, Slurry Pump, Spiral Chute, Mixing Tank, Plate Magnetic Separator etc.

Each client's sand making and washing processing requirements are unique. We design customized processing flowcharts based on each client's specific mining conditions. For a detailed processing flowchart, please do not hesitate to contact us!

 

Basic Stages

Raw materials: Sand, quartz sand, river sand, deposit sand
Purpose: High quality pure sand for glass product, photovoltaic product and so on, 99.5% Sio2, -100ppm Fe
 

Processing Steps
1). Washing the raw material sands to clean and remove the big size.
2). Separating out the heavy minerals.
3). Further remove the Fe.
4). Dewatering the sands.
5). Get pure sand.

Notice:Unqualified silica sand continues to be broken by the system until the finished product is produced.

1. Liner Screen
The liner screen Raw materials are fed into the line via a Feeder Hopper. They pass through a Liner Screen(Linear Screen) for wet or dry screening to removes large particles, debris, and roots, ensuring uniform material size for subsequent processing.

2. Primary Classification and Desliming
The screened slurry flows into the first Spiral Classifier. Utilizing the principle of gravitational settling, the spiral blades
slowly agitate and lift the material. Fine impurities like dust and clay with lower density overflow with the water, while denser quartz sand is conveyed upward by the spiral blades to the next stage. This step effectively removes most surface sludge from the raw sand.

3. Attrition Scrubbing:
Through the Attrition Scrubbing high-intensity mechanical agitation, sand particles rub against each other, stripping away surface contaminants and preparing the material for subsequent magnetic separation or flotation

 

4. Secondary Classification and Cleaning
The scrubbed slurry is directed to a Spirals Group After scrubbing, the impurities stripped from the sand surfaces are suspended in the water. The secondary spiral classification further washes these separated impurities away with the overflow, while also removing any micro-fines generated during scrubbing, ensuring the underflow sand achieves a higher cleanliness standard.

5.Classification and Dewatering
The scrubbed slurry is then pumped into a Hydrocyclone Using centrifugal force, it achieves a fine
classification: fine impurities are discharged through the overflow, while the underflow consists of concentrated coarse quartz sand, which also undergoes partial dewatering.

6. Magnetic Separator for iron removal

This is a key step in purification. The material passes through a Plate Magnetic Separator
A strong magnetic field extracts magnetic minerals (such as magnetite, hematite, and biotite) and other weakly magnetic impurities from the sand. This significantly reduces the iron content, enhancing the whiteness and purity of the final quartz sand.
